Quality Assurance Programme

  1. Deep Blue Health complies with the regulations of New Zealand Food and Safety Authority (NZFSA).
  2. Deep Blue Health maintains a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programme. 
  3. Deep Blue Health nutritional products are designed and developed according to the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) code.
  4. Deep Blue Health Management takes responsibility for quality assurance.
  5. Deep Blue Health controls operations as specified by the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  6. Deep Blue Health produces all products in line with codes of compliance for manufacture, supply and use of the correct starting and packaging materials.
  7. Deep Blue Health implements all necessary controls on intermediate products and any other in-process controls and validations.
  8. Deep Blue Health ensures that all finished product is correctly processed and checked, according to defined procedure.
  9. Deep Blue Health ensures that each production batch has been produced and controlled in accordance with marketing specifications and any other relevant regulations.
  10. Deep Blue Health ensures, as far as possible, that products are stored, distributed and appropriately handled to maintain quality. 
  11. Deep Blue Health regularly audits and appraises the effectiveness and applicability of the Quality Assurance Programme.
  12. Deep Blue Health adheres to a strict policy for returns, complaints and recalls.
  13. Deep Blue Health and partners hold a quarantine manual, as required by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF), to certify the premises as a transitional facility (MAF audited).
  14. Deep Blue Health regularly trains staff to ensure adherence to quality procedures.
  15. Deep Blue Health maintains a procedure for products rework and deviation.
